What is the best time of year to go on a Nile Cruise?

The ideal time is between October and April . During these months, the weather is pleasantly cool, making it perfect for exploring the temples in Upper Egypt (Aswan, Luxor, and Edfu) without the intense summer heat.

Is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) fully open to the public?

While the Grand Egyptian Museum has started its trial operations —allowing visitors to explore the Grand Staircase, the commercial area, and the hanging obelisk—the full collection, including the Tutankhamun galleries, is scheduled for a grand opening. It is a "must-visit" for its state-of-the-art displays and architectural splendor.

How many days are enough to see the highlights of Cairo and the Nile?

A 9 to 10-day itinerary is usually perfect. This allows for 3 to 4 days in Cairo to cover the Pyramids and Islamic/Coptic sites, and a 3 to 4-night Nile Cruise to visit the major temples between Aswan and Luxor, with travel days included.
