Day 1 Arrival in Cairo
On arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative meets and assists you, then transfers you to your luxury hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx & Saqqara
After breakfast, our guide and private driver meet you for a full day at the Giza Plateau. See the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of King Djoser and the ancient capital of Memphis. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 Grand Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo
After breakfast, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum and home to the complete treasures of Tutankhamun. Afterwards, explore historic Old Cairo, including the Saladin Citadel, the Mohamed Ali (Alabaster) Mosque and the bustling Khan El Khalili bazaar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 4 Fly to Aswan: High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Philae
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the beautiful island Temple of Philae. Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 Abu Simbel & Nile Cruise Embarkation
After an early breakfast, drive to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, the rock-cut monuments built by Pharaoh Ramses II and famously relocated to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Marvel at the four colossal statues of Ramses II and the temple of Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan and embark your 5-star Nile Cruise. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 6 Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
After breakfast, the ship sails to Kom Ombo to visit its unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then continues to Edfu to visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus. Meals on board. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 7 Luxor: Karnak, Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut

Day 8 Fly to Sharm El Sheikh

This is a fully private tour for you and your party, with your own guide and vehicle for the Cairo and temple visits. On the Nile Cruise, sightseeing runs in small groups with a cruise Egyptologist, as is standard on 5-star cruises.
