Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

    On arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative meets and assists you, then transfers you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

  2. Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

    After breakfast, our guide and private driver meet you, then we visit the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. Overnight in Cairo.

  3. Day 3: Islamic & Coptic Cairo and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

    After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 9:00 a.m. to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where you will discover Egypt's history and culture. Continue to Islamic and Coptic Cairo to see historic mosques and churches, including the Mosque of Ibn Tulun, the Church of Abu Serga, St. Barbara's Church and the Hanging Church. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

  4. Day 4: Cairo to Aswan by Flight (High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Philae Temple)

    After breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the beautiful island Temple of Philae. After the tour and lunch, check in to your hotel. Overnight in Aswan.

  5. Day 5: Abu Simbel & Nile Cruise Embarkation

    After an early breakfast, set out to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, the twin rock-cut temples carved for Pharaoh Ramses II more than 3,000 years ago and famously relocated in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Stand before the four colossal seated statues of Ramses II that guard the Great Temple, then visit the smaller temple dedicated to his queen, Nefertari, and the goddess Hathor. Afterwards, return to Aswan and transfer to your 5-star Nile Cruise for embarkation and the next three nights. Lunch and dinner are served on board. Overnight on the cruise.

  6. Day 6: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

    After breakfast, the ship sails to Kom Ombo, where we visit its unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god, then continue to Edfu to visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus. Meals on board. Overnight on the cruise.

  7. Day 7: Luxor West Bank & East Bank

    After breakfast, we visit the Luxor West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then the East Bank with the great Karnak and Luxor Temples. Meals on board. Overnight on the cruise in Luxor.

  8. Day 8: Luxor to Soma Bay

    After breakfast, disembark from your cruise in Luxor and transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Soma Bay on the Red Sea coast (about a 3 to 4 hour drive). Check in to your all-inclusive beachfront resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Soma Bay.

  9. Day 9: Soma Bay at Leisure

    A full day at leisure to relax at your all-inclusive Red Sea resort in Soma Bay. Unwind on the sandy beach, swim in the clear waters, or add an optional snorkelling or diving trip. Overnight in Soma Bay.

  10. Day 10: Soma Bay at Leisure

    Another full day at leisure in Soma Bay. Enjoy the beach and resort facilities, or take an optional excursion on the Red Sea. Overnight in Soma Bay.

  11. Day 11: Departure from Hurghada

    After breakfast, check out from your resort and transfer to Hurghada International Airport for your departure flight. End of our services.

Is Abu Simbel included in this tour?

Yes. A visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel is included on Day 5 as part of the tour, not as an optional extra. You will see the Great Temple of Ramses II and the temple of Queen Nefertari before boarding your Nile Cruise.

What accommodation is included?

You stay in 5-star properties throughout: 3 nights at a 5-star hotel in Cairo, 1 night in Aswan, 3 nights on a 5-star Nile Cruise on a full-board basis, and 3 nights at a 5-star all-inclusive resort in Soma Bay on the Red Sea.

Are flights and transfers included?

Yes. The domestic flight from Cairo to Aswan is included, along with all private airport and sightseeing transfers and the private transfer from Luxor to Soma Bay. International flights to and from Egypt are not included.
