1. Day 1 Cairo to Bahariya Oasis & White Desert Camping

   Your desert expedition begins with a 7:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cairo. Travelling in a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, you drive to the Bahariya Oasis, arriving at around 11:30 AM for lunch at the El Waha restaurant. From there, you set out to explore the Black and White Deserts, beginning with the volcanic hills of the Black Desert (Jabal El Marsos) and the glittering Crystal Mountain (El Azaz), before reaching El Agabat with its flower-shaped stones, one of the most beautiful areas in the whole oasis. As evening approaches, you continue to the White Desert, famous for its Chicken and Mushroom rock formations, where you set up camp and enjoy a Bedouin-style dinner under the stars.

2. Day 2 White Desert to Djara Cave & Abu Muharriq Dunes

   You wake at around 7:00 AM and enjoy breakfast at camp before setting off across the sweeping Karween Dunes towards the remarkable Djara Cave, a hidden underground wonder deep in the desert. After a picnic lunch, you drive on through the open desert to the towering Abu Muharik Dunes, where you build your camp for the night, share dinner and spend the evening in complete desert silence before your overnight stay.

3. Day 3 Abu Muharriq Dunes to Drab El Rayen

   After waking at around 7:00 AM and having breakfast, you set off to cross the Abu Muharik Dunes towards Drab El Rayen, with a picnic lunch served along the way as you travel deeper into the untouched Western Desert. On arrival you set up your final desert camp at Drab El Rayen, where you enjoy dinner and spend the night beneath the open sky.

4. Day 4 Drab El Rayen to Wadi El Hitan & Return to Cairo

   After an early breakfast, you drive across the desert to Wadi El Hitan, around 50 km and about 35 minutes of off-road driving away. Here you hike through the fossil-rich Valley of the Whales, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can walk across an ancient sea bed, see the fossils of prehistoric whales and visit the Wadi El Hitan museum, with plenty of time for memorable photos. You then continue to the Magic Lake and the waterfall of Wadi El Rayen, before enjoying lunch in the charming Tunis Village with a visit to a local pottery workshop. Afterwards, you head back to Cairo, bringing your desert adventure to a close.
